Parents,
For the past 5 years, the Force Board has had a dream of a soccer complex we can call our own. A complex that would allow us to play our home games on safe, natural, well-manicured, watered and weed controlled grass fields! We are very happy to say, after a lot of hard work and volunteer effort, this dream will become a reality when we officially open the Force Soccer Complex for the Fall 2012 season!
Most of you know how terrible the fields at 8th Street have been. They are usually covered with weeds, the playing surfaces aren’t level, the ground is like concrete and there are holes everywhere. These issues have made it difficult to play on. Safety is the primary concern for opening our own fields.
In order to maintain the Force Soccer Complex in the best playing condition possible, it will require the club to spend money to maintain them. To do this, we are asking businesses in the surrounding area to sponsor the Force Soccer Complex, to help fund the fields. The Force Board members can’t do this alone so we are asking the help of our soccer community. Click on FORMS to find Sponsorship Information and Banner Pricing. If you know of ANY businesses or individuals that might be interested in sponsoring our new complex, would you be so kind as to approach them for sponsorship? Perhaps it might be your employer, your neighbor, your family, etc. The benefit to them is a great advertising venue where hundreds of families will convene each season! Please contact Jamie Tran or Marcy Hutchinson with questions or opportunities.
There are other ways we raise money at Force. One way is through a Force night at Applebee’s where a percentage of the money spent on dinner will go to the club. Another way will be an upcoming Euchre Tournament that will take place in early March. These are just a couple of activities that are planned to get these fields up and running. As we prepare for the fundraisers, more information will follow when dates and times are determined.
For more than 25 years that Force has been in existence, volunteer help and participation has been needed and greatly appreciated. Please remember that all of your help will benefit every single player within our organization. The players have always been the reason behind this endeavor and we would like to keep the club running for them, but it requires a community!
Thank you for your support!
